Job summary

Lowe’s is hiring a Sales Specialist to be one of the first associates customers meet in-store. You will help customers choose products, discuss project needs, and guide them to complete their home improvement goals.

The role may involve working in various departments based on hiring needs. You will become a product expert, explaining specifications, features, promotions, and financing options to close sales.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or GED.
• Experience in customer-facing sales or Lowe’s retail experience.
• Ability to meet sales goals and metrics.
• Able to read, write and perform basic arithmetic.
• Able to stand and sit for prolonged periods.
• Ability to lift at least 25 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Provide SMART customer service by understanding needs and communicating product advantages.
• Serve as point of contact for customers and vendors, provide estimates, schedule visits, process orders and follow up for project completion.
• In Pro Department, focus on outside sales and external accounts.
• Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with vendors/stores for stock replenishment.
• Perform price reviews per pricing policies and maintain pricing documentation.
• Support checkout functions and assist customers as needed.
• Train associates on the Sales floor and coach for development.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
