Job summary

Gateway First Bank is seeking a Consumer Lending Account Manager for South Dakota to recruit contractor partners and drive adoption of our financing solutions. The role covers Sioux Falls and Rapid City with a full sales cycle from prospecting to closing.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years in consumer lending (home improvement lending a plus), strong MS Office and superior communication/presentation skills, and can develop lasting contractor relationships. A finance degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge in Consumer Lending specifically in Home Improvement Lending policies, procedures, and practices.
• Proficient in MS Office.
• Strong communication and presentation skills for engaging contractors and their sales teams.
• Ability to develop relationships.
• Bachelor's Degree in Finance or equivalent work experience.
• 7 years of Consumer Lending or equivalent experience.
• Consumer lending experience required, ideally within home improvement financing.

Responsibilities

• Identifies, recruits, and signs contractor partners in the Oklahoma City market.
• Manages contractor relationships and ensure they actively offer our financing solutions.
• Owns the full sales cycle including prospecting, pitching, closing, and ongoing account management.
• Operates as a self starter with minimal lead support in a highly entrepreneurial environment.
• Participates in the department hiring, promotion, and review process while managing, mentoring, and improving support staff performance.
• Exercises awareness with regard to possible suspicious activity, money laundering or fraudulent behavior and reports any such incidents to the BSA department.
• Performs related responsibilities as required or assigned.
