Job summary

Qualifications

• Basic computer use including inputting, accessing information, and basic arithmetic.
• Experience with common retail technology (smartphones/tablets).
• Reading, writing, and performing basic arithmetic.
• Ability to stand, sit, and perform duties as required; lift 25 lbs unassisted or more with assistance.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers and deliver friendly, professional service.
• Assist customers with locating and handling merchandise.
• Stock shelves and replenish supplies as needed.
• Process orders and deliveries accurately to meet customer expectations.
• Cross-train in other store areas to support customer service.
• Prepare merchandise in your department per customer needs (e.g., paint, pipe, wood, drywall).
• Guide customers through shopping or checkout.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
