Job summary

Lowe's is looking for a Customer Service Associate in Mount Vernon, OH. You will welcome customers, help them find products, and ensure a smooth shopping experience across departments. You may assist with loading merchandise and handling orders, while adapting to daily departmental needs.

You will spend your day listening to customers, answering questions, and organizing merchandise, with opportunities to train in multiple store areas to deliver outstanding service.

Qualifications

• 6 months of computer usage experience (inputting, accessing, modifying information).
• 6 months of experience using common retail technology (smartphones/tablets).
• Ability to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic operations.
• Able to stand, sit, and perform other duties for extended periods.
• Minimum lifting of 25 lbs unassisted (or with accommodation).
• Bi-lingual skills are a plus; certification in a department trade is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers and provide friendly, professional service.
• Help customers locate and handle merchandise.
• Restock shelves and replenish supplies as needed.
• Process orders and deliveries accurately for timely receipt.
• Cross-train in other store areas to enhance service quality.
• Prepare department merchandise according to customer needs (e.g., paint, pipe, lumber).
• Guide customers through shopping or checkout.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
