Job summary

Lowe’s Companies, Inc. is hiring a Customer Service Associate in the Pittsburgh area. You will greet customers, help them locate products, answer questions, and ensure a positive shopping experience while maintaining store standards.

You may work in various departments based on needs, with opportunities to learn multiple trades and grow within a large, national home improvement retailer. Customer service and teamwork are emphasized.

Qualifications

• 6 months of experience using a computer (inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information).
• 6 months of experience using common retail technology (smartphones/tablets).
• Reading, writing, and basic arithmetic (addition/subtraction).
• Ability to stand/sit for extended periods and perform duties as needed.
• Able to lift 25 lbs unassisted or more with/without accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers and deliver friendly, professional service.
• Assist customers with locating and handling merchandise.
• Replenish stock and organize shelves for easy access.
• Process orders/deliveries accurately and on time.
• Cross-train in other areas to enhance customer service.
• Prepare department merchandise per customer needs (e.g., paint, pipes, wood, drywall).
• Guide customers through shopping or checkout and complete other duties as assigned.
