Job summary

Under the direction of a Physical Therapist, you will perform delegated tasks, transfer and prepare patients for therapy, and assist clinicians as needed. Ideal candidates are enrolled in a DPT program and have strong communication and customer service skills.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an accredited Physical Therapy DPT program.
• Preferred: Previous experience in the medical field.
• Active Driver's License is required.

Responsibilities

• Performs delegated, routine tasks under PT supervision.
• Transfers and transports patients, prepares them for therapy.
• Assists clinician as instructed and supports home health therapy goals.

Job Description

Under the direction and supervision of Physical Therapist, performs only delegated, selected, or routine tasks in specific situations. The therapy tech may also transfer and transport patients, prepare them for therapy, and assist clinician as instructed. Should be considering a physical therapy career path in home health settings.

Education

• Required: Currently enrolled in an accredited Physical Therapy DPT Program

Experience

• Preferred: Previous experience in the medical field

Skills

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Excellent customer service skills.

Licensure/Certification/Registration
