Job summary

Qualifications

• Licensed in Speech Therapy in the state of residence.
• Current driver's license and access to reliable transportation.
• CPR certification or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provides speech therapy services within the scope of practice as defined by state laws and the care plan.
• Evaluates function and assists in developing the therapy plan of care.
• Treats patients to improve communication, swallowing, and cognitive function.
• Records progress and notifies supervising staff of patient response to treatment.
• Educates patients, families, and caregivers on speech therapy techniques.
