Job summary

Qualifications

• Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist in the state of residence.
• Current CPR certification.
• Current driver's license with reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Provides services within the scope of practice as defined by state laws and the plan of care.
• Evaluates the patient's level of function and assists in the therapy plan of care.
• Treats patients to improve communication, swallowing, and cognitive function.
• Observes, records, and reports patient progress and changes to the supervising clinician.
• Educates patient, family and caregivers on speech therapy techniques.
