Job summary

Qualifications

• Licensed in Speech Therapy in the state of residence.
• Current driver’s license, vehicle insurance, access to a dependable vehicle or public transportation.

Responsibilities

• Provides services within the scope of practice as defined by state laws and as part of the plan of care.
• Evaluates patient function and assists in developing therapy plans.
• Treats patients to improve communication and swallowing.
• Observes and reports patient responses and changes in condition.
• Instructs patient, family and caregivers in speech therapy.
• Functioning in diverse home situations regardless of client background.
