Job summary

Amedisys Home Health is seeking a Speech Pathologist for PRN days in Bloomington, Indiana. You will evaluate and treat adults with speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders in the home health setting.

The role includes providing AAC options, aural rehabilitation, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team. Requires active CCC-SLP, state license, and CPR; generous benefits and flexibility are offered depending on schedule.

Qualifications

• Current, unencumbered license to practice speech-language pathology in the assigned state.
• Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) with completed graduate coursework and clinical practicum in an accredited program.
• Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Prevent, assess, diagnose and treat speech, language, social communication, cognitive communication and swallowing disorders in adults.
• Provide aural rehabilitation for deaf or hard-of-hearing individuals and AAC options for those with severe expressive/language challenges.
• Other duties as assigned.
