Job summary

Adoration Health seeks a Speech Language Pathologist for home health in McMinnville, TN. The SLP will provide patient-centered care, evaluate and treat speech and language disorders in the home, with team support and a fulfilling, compassionate environment.

This PRN position offers flexible scheduling, 1:1 patient care, and opportunities for professional growth. Offices in Smithville and Woodbury, serving Cannon and DeKalb Counties.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Minimum of 1 year’s work experience as a Speech Language Pathologist.
• Current, unrestricted state license to practice Speech Language Pathology.
• BLS or CPR certification in accordance with state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with patients to evaluate speech or language difficulties and determine therapy needs.
• Teach patients to produce sounds and improve voice quality.
• Teach alternative communication methods (e.g., sign language) as needed.
• Educate healthcare team, patients, and caregivers on therapeutic exercises to support progress.
• Document progress and clinical notes; submit visit documentation per agency policy.

Education

Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology

1 year work experience as a Speech Language Pathologist

Current, unrestricted license as a Speech Language Pathologist

BLS (Basic Life Support) or CPR certification
