Job summary

Adoration Health in Greeneville, TN is seeking a passionate Speech-Language Pathologist to join our home health team on a PRN basis. You will deliver patient-centered, 1:1 therapy in the home setting across Hamblen, Cocke and Hawkins counties, collaborating with caregivers and the healthcare team.

The role requires a Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology, 1 year of experience, state license, and BLS/CPR certification.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Minimum of 1 year of work experience as a Speech Language Pathologist.
• Current, unrestricted license as a Speech Language Pathologist in the practicing state.
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) or CPR certification in accordance with state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with patients to evaluate speech or language difficulties and determine therapy needs.
• Teach patients how to make sounds and improve their voices.
• Teach alternative communication methods, such as sign language.
• Educate and guide healthcare team members, patients, and caregivers in therapeutic exercises for progress outside sessions.
• Document progress and submit visit documentation per policy.
