Job summary

Amedisys is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist for PRN homecare assignments in Florida. The role focuses on preventing, assessing, diagnosing and treating speech, language, cognitive communication and swallowing disorders in adults, including aural rehab and AAC support for individuals who are deaf or hard of hearing.

Applicants must hold a current, unencumbered state license in speech pathology, CCC-SLP with supervised experience, and CPR certification.

Qualifications

• Current, unencumbered license to practice speech pathology specific to the state you are assigned to work.
• CCC-SLP certification with completed graduate coursework and a clinical practicum in an CAA-accredited program.
• Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Prevent, assess, diagnose and treat speech, language, cognitive and swallowing disorders in adults.
• Provide aural rehabilitation and AAC support for individuals who are deaf or hard of hearing.
• Other duties as assigned.
