Job summary

Amedisys is seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to provide in-home assessment and treatment for adults with communication and swallowing disorders in Florida. You will deliver diagnostic and therapeutic services, collaborate with families, and coordinate care with the care team in a patient-centered home health setting.

Applicants must hold a CCC-SLP, active state license, and CPR certification; prior home health experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Current, unencumbered license to practice speech pathology in the assigned state.
• CCC-SLP certification with coursework and supervised practicum.
• Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Prevent, assess, diagnose and treat speech, language, cognitive communication and swallowing disorders in adults.
• Provide aural rehabilitation and AAC support for individuals with hearing loss or language impairment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
