Job summary

Tender Care Home Health & Hospice in Las Cruces, NM seeks a Speech-Language Pathologist (FT/PRN) to implement care standards and support patients in improving communication. You will assess function, plan goals, and collaborate with physicians, families, and the health team.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology with approved internship.
• ASHA CCC certification is required or in good standing.
• Current state licensure to practice Speech-Language Pathology.
• Valid CPR certification and effective communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Implement standards of care for speech-language pathology services.
• Assist physicians in evaluating patient function and plan care goals.
• Conduct admissions, recertifications, and discharge OASIS assessments.
• Educate patients and families on communication strategies and device use.
• Document evaluations, plans of care, and progress notes in a timely manner.
• Maintain billing data and participate in in-services and audits.
