Tender Care Home Health is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for Las Cruces, NM. The role involves implementing care standards for speech-language pathology services, with responsibilities to assist physicians, educate families, and maintain accurate documentation.

The candidate should hold a Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology with internship, be licensed in the relevant state, and have CCC-SLP eligibility.

Qualifications

• Requires Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology including an internship.
• ASHA CCC-SLP eligibility or certification is required.
• Licensed in the state of practice as a Speech Pathologist.
• CPR certification and ongoing compliance.
• Minimum of one year clinical experience in Speech-Language Pathology.

Responsibilities

• Implement standards of care for speech-language pathology services.
• Report to the Director of Patient Services.
• Assist physicians in evaluating patient function and communication needs.
• Educate patients and families on speech/language strategies.
• Maintain clinical records, progress notes, and orders.
• Coordinate with family and other health team members for integrated care.
