Job summary

Access Home Health, part of the LHC Group and Optum family, is hiring a Scheduling Specialist in Rogers, AR. You will manage patient referrals and visit schedules using an online scheduling system, assign assessments, and coordinate with clinicians to match patient needs.

Working with the Team Leader, you will monitor start-of-care visits, communicate with field staff, and ensure timely, accurate scheduling. A high school diploma and scheduling experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent.
• 1+ years scheduling experience in a health care setting using an online scheduling system.
• Knowledge of state and federal regulations governing visits and reassessments.
• Strong organizational, customer service, communication, and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes an automated scheduling system to maintain a calendar of services for episodic and per-visit customers.
• Processes workflow for requested scheduled, missed, rescheduled, reassigned, declined, and delivered visits.
• Monitors pending referrals daily and assigns licensed professional and case manager for start of care visits.
• Communicates daily with field staff regarding visits needing attention for resolution.
