Job summary

Amerita, part of the BrightSpring Health Services family, is seeking a Scheduler to coordinate and schedule nursing visits, approve documents, and manage authorizations and invoices. The role requires strong organizational skills and experience in home care, with a Monday–Friday schedule in Lenexa, KS, and some on-call duties.

Responsibilities include coordinating visits, communicating infusion orders to field staff, and reviewing nursing notes and subcontract billing.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Basic knowledge and experience in home care preferred.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and tracks regularly scheduled Amerita nursing visits for field and AIS.
• Secures Home Health agency for patient visits when Amerita nurse is unable to provide nursing.
• Communicates patient demos and most recent infusion orders to field nurses.
• Alert field nurses when there is a change or an update to an infusion order.
• Communicates assignment of new patients and primary nursing from Nurse Manager to field staff.
• Review and approve nursing notes in Alayacare or applicable documentation software.
• Review and approve subcontract billing.
• Triage calls from patients, providers and internal partners regarding scheduled nursing visits.
