Job summary
BrightStar Care is seeking a compassionate Home Health Registered Nurse (RN) to join our clinical team serving Princeton, TX and surrounding areas. You will provide skilled nursing care in patients' homes, perform Start of Care and reassessments, and collaborate with physicians to achieve the best possible outcomes.
The ideal candidate holds a Texas RN license, CPR/BLS certification, and at least 1 year of nursing experience.
Qualifications
- Current Texas RN license in good standing.
- Current CPR/BLS certification.
- Minimum 1 year of nursing experience.
- Valid driver's license and auto insurance.
Responsibilities
- Complete SOC, Recertification, Resumption of Care, Evaluation, and Discharge visits.
- Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and develop individualized plans of care.
- Monitor patient conditions and communicate changes to the care team.
- Provide wound, catheter care, and lab draws as ordered.
- Administer medications and monitor adverse reactions.
- Coordinate care with physicians and interdisciplinary team.
- Educate patients and caregivers on disease management and safety.
- Ensure HIPAA compliance and accurate documentation.
