Anew Home Health in Indianapolis, IN is seeking a Registered Nurse to deliver in-home patient care on the southeast side (Franklin Township area). This full-time role may include PRN hours, and requires RN licensure in Indiana.

The company is locally owned, with a focus on compassionate service, strong teamwork, and community health education. The RN will assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care, coordinate with families and care teams, and support clinical education and training.

Competenze

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program with RN licensure in Indiana.
• One year of home health care experience preferred.
• One year supervisory/management experience preferred.
• Excellent observation, verbal and written communication skills.

Mansioni

The Registered Nurse is responsible for the delivery of patient care through nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. The registered nurse plans, organizes and directs home care services and is experienced in nursing, with emphasis on community health education/experience. The professional nurse builds from the resources of the community to plan and direct services to meet the needs of individuals and families within their homes and communities.

Job Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with RN licensure in the state in which services will be provided.
• One (1) year of home health care experience preferred.
• One-year supervisory/management experience with direct care staff preferred.
• Excellent observation, verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, basic math skills;
  nursing skills per competency checklist.
• Prolonged or considerable walking or standing. Able to lift, position or transfer patients. Able to lift supplies
  and equipment. Considerable reaching, stooping, bending, kneeling or crouching. Visual acuity and hearing
  to perform required nursing skills.
