Job summary

CareRing Health, LLC is seeking an experienced registered nurse to deliver home health care in the Washington, DC area. You will perform comprehensive assessments, develop and implement care plans, and collaborate with physicians and caregivers to meet patient needs.

The role requires an active RN license, nursing degree, CPR certification, and at least two years in acute care with relevant assessments. Strong communication and independent working ability are essential.

Qualifications

• Holds a current Registered Nurse license.
• Graduate from an approved school of nursing.
• Minimum of two years in an acute setting with heart, lung, and physical assessments or demonstrated ability in these areas.
• Current CPR certification.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and human relations skills.
• Function with minimal supervision.
• Manage multiple projects and changing priorities.
• Employ critical thinking skills.

Responsibilities

• Completes initial and periodic assessments of clients, caregivers, and home environments for admission and ongoing service.
• Accepts client admissions as assigned and weekend on-call assignments.
• Provides comprehensive nursing care per care plans.
• Performs physician-ordered treatments requiring specialized skills.
• Observes signs and reports to appropriate leadership.
• Notes changes in physical or emotional status of clients.
• Assesses nutritional needs and diet as ordered.
• Educates patients and families on medications and procedures.
