Job summary

Alpha Home Health & Hospice is hiring a full-time Home Health Registered Nurse (RN) to serve the Whatcom County area Home Health division. The role offers $45-$55 per hour depending on experience, with competitive per visit rates and room for advancement.

Qualifications

• Washington RN licensure required.
• Home Health/Hospice agency experience preferred, but not required.
• Current BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct initial and ongoing patient assessments in the home setting.
• Develop and update individualized care plans with the care team.
• Administer medications, treatments, and injections as prescribed.
• Perform wound care and dressing changes and other complex care.
• Monitor vital signs and report changes to the physician.
• Educate patients and caregivers on disease processes, medications, and self-care.
• Coordinate care with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals.
• Document visits and care in the EMR and ensure compliance with policies.
