Job summary

The Lakes Home Care, Inc. is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Home Health team in Florida. You will apply the nursing process to plan, deliver, and evaluate patient care with clinical judgment under the Director of Clinical Services.

We require Florida RN licensure, current Health Certificate, PPD or Chest X-Ray, BLS, and availability for 24-hour coverage with day and night shifts as needed. Experience preferred and compassionate, patient-centered care is essential.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license for Florida.
• Current Health Certificate per facility policy or state regulation.
• Current PPD or Chest X-Ray.
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
• One year RN experience preferred.
• Availability for 24-hour care coverage, including rotating day/night shifts.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care.
• Assesses signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient’s condition.
• Documents patient’s plan of care with identified nursing diagnoses, outcomes, and interventions.
• Performs interventions according to priorities and plan of care.
• Revises the plan of care based on evaluation and changes in medical status.
• Uses clinical judgment to meet patient care needs on assigned unit/floor.
• Other Registered Nurse duties as assigned.
