Job summary

UnitedHealth Group’s MS HomeCare, part of the LHC Group within Optum, is hiring a Full Time Registered Nurse (RN) to provide and coordinate in-home nursing care as prescribed by physicians and policy. Responsibilities include developing care plans, supervising home health aides, conducting assessments, and communicating with patients and families.

Requirements: current Mississippi RN license, valid driver's license, CPR preferred, 1+ year home health experience.

Qualifications

• Current and unrestricted RN license in the state of practice (Mississippi).
• Current Driver's License and access to a dependable vehicle or transportation.
• Solid communication, writing, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Initiates, develops, implements, and revises the plan of care in collaboration with the physician and health care team.
• Supervises care provided by home health aides and nurses, provides instruction, and assigns tasks per regulations.
• Documents visits and ensures care delivery aligns with the plan of care and payer requirements.
