Job summary

UnitedHealth Group is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for home health in Mississippi. You will deliver and coordinate patient-centered nursing care in home settings, collaborating with physicians and care teams to optimize outcomes.

Qualifications

• Current and unrestricted RN licensure in the state of practice.
• Current Driver's License, vehicle insurance, and access to a dependable vehicle or public transportation.
• Preferred CPR certification and/or home health experience are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Initiates, develops, implements, and revises the plan of care in collaboration with the physician and other health care professionals.
• Supervises care provided by home health aides and LPNs, provides instruction, and assigns tasks per state and federal regulations.
• Provides supervisory visits and ensures adherence to infection control standards within the plan of care.
• Completes comprehensive assessments (OASIS), medication reconciliation, and timely documentation per policy.
• Communicates with physicians, patients, families, and staff to ensure quality care and continuity of services.
