Job summary

Mederi Caretenders Home Health is hiring a Registered Nurse to deliver and coordinate nursing care in patients' homes in Orlando, Florida. This role requires an active RN license and a valid driver’s license, with CPR preferred.

Qualifications

• Current and unrestricted RN licensure in state of practice.
• Current driver's license and access to a dependable vehicle or public transportation.
• CPR certification preferred or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire.
• 1+ years of Home Health experience preferred.
• Ability to work independently; strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Initiates, develops and revises the plan of care with the physician and team.
• Supervises home health aides and licensed nurses; assigns tasks per regulations.
• Provides required supervisory visits.
• Provides high-quality clinical services within the plan of care and infection control standards.
• Completes comprehensive assessments (OASIS) including medication reconciliation.
• Documents patient visits per policy and payer requirements.
• Ensures eligibility and medical necessity; develops care plan with physician.
• Communicates with clinicians, physicians, patients and families."
• Participates in on-call and weekend rotation.
