Job summary

Pride Health is hiring a Home Health RN to support our client’s healthcare facility in Andalusia, AL. The role is a 14-week contract with a 40-hour workweek, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.

Coverage areas include Covington, Conecuh, and Butler counties. Pay ranges from $52 to $54 per hour and varies by experience, credentialing, and education. Mileage reimbursement is provided between patient visits.

Qualifications

• Active Alabama RN license is required.
• BLS/CPR certification required.
• 1+ year of home health nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing care to patients in a home health setting.
• Complete accurate and timely documentation using Homecare Homebase.
• Perform wound care, wound VAC management, IV site care and venipuncture as needed.
• Monitor patient progress and communicate changes to the care team.
• Participate in on-call and weekend coverage rotation.

Job Details

Duties

• Monitor patient progress and communicate changes in condition to the appropriate healthcare providers.
• Must be willing to participate in on-call and weekend coverage rotation.

Requirements

• License(s): Active Alabama RN License
• Certification(s): BLS/CPR
• Years of Experience: 1+
• Skills/Specialties/Technology: Homecare Homebase preferred
• Preferred Skills: Wound care, wound VAC management, IV site care and maintenance, and venipuncture skills
