Job summary

Amergis is seeking a Home Health Registered Nurse (RN) to provide skilled, one-on-one nursing care in patients' homes or residential settings. You will document care per physician orders and ensure adherence to care plans.

The role requires an active RN license in the practicing state, ideally with at least one year of home health experience. CPR may be required, along with health certificates and regulatory compliance; candidates must be at least 18 years old.

Qualifications

• Must hold an active Registered Nurse license in the practicing state.
• Preferred: minimum of one year in home health nursing.
• CPR certification if applicable.
• TB questionnaire or chest x-ray per policy.
• Current health certificate as per contract/regulation.
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Provide and document skilled one-on-one nursing care according to physician orders.
• Care is primarily delivered in the patient’s home or related setting.
• May accompany patient to appointments or activities outside the home.

Home Health Registered Nurse (RN)

Pay: $50 / Hour

Hours: 40.00

Location: Decatur, AL

The Home Health Registered Nurse is responsible forproviding and documenting skilled one-on-one nursing care in accordance withthe physician-ordered individualized patient care plan. This care is provided mostly in the patient’shome or a residential setting but can transfer outside the home duringappointments and other activities the nurse may accompany the patient to.

Minimum Requirements

• Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state inwhich the RN will practice
• One year of home health nursing experience preferred
• Complies with all relevant professional standards ofpractice
• Current CPR if applicable
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
• Current Health certificate (per contract or stateregulation)
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
• Must be at least 18 years of age
