Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse to provide in-home skilled nursing care in Somerset, KY. The role includes medication administration, wound care, and comprehensive patient assessments, with a focus on collaborating with physicians and a care team.

The RN will develop personalized care plans, monitor conditions, educate patients and families, and maintain detailed records while coordinating with Healthcare professionals and supervising Home Health Aides.

Qualifications

• Med surg, ICU, ER, or acute experience.
• Current and unrestricted Registered Nurse licensure.
• Current CPR certification.
• Experience collaborating with a team of healthcare professionals.
• Valid driver's license.
• Auto insurance.
• Reliable transportation.
• One year nursing experience (preferred).
• Home Health experience (preferred).
• Ability to comply with TB screening requirements.
• Ability to maintain personal vehicle liability insurance in accordance with state minimums or specified coverage limits.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing care to patients in their homes, including administering medications, performing wound care, and conducting patient assessments.

• Help patients regain independence while managing chronic conditions or recovering from injury, illness, surgery, or hospitalization.
