Job summary

Integrated Home Care Services (IHCS) is seeking a Referral Coordinator to join our on-site team in Miramar, FL. You'll manage the intake process for healthcare services and serve as the liaison between patients, caregivers, and health plans.

Responsibilities include verifying patient information and insurance, processing authorizations, obtaining and releasing clinical documentation, and responding to plan inquiries to ensure seamless care.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of intake referrals experience within Home Health.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to use various computer programs and applications, including EMR/EHR.
• Ability to self-motivate and work independently.
• Ability to multi-task, set priorities and manage time effectively.
• Bilingual Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Handle the intake process of healthcare service orders; liaison between patients, our company, and health plans.
• Verify patient information and insurance; process authorizations and referrals.
• Obtain and release clinical documentation; respond to health plan inquiries.
• Research and resolve patient accounts as needed.
• Support scheduling and coordination to ensure seamless care.
