VitalCaring is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to deliver one-on-one, in-home therapy that helps patients regain strength, mobility, and independence. You will work under a licensed PT to implement personalized plans of care in patients’ homes, promoting comfort and progress with each visit.

The ideal candidate has PTA credentials, CPR, and 1+ year of experience (home health a plus). You will collaborate with nurses and therapists to ensure coordinated care in a field-based setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) program.
• Current PTA license or certification as required by state law.
• 1+ year of experience preferred (home health experience a plus).
• Current CPR certification.

Responsabilités

• Provide direct physical therapy services under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Follow individualized plans of care to help patients reduce pain, improve mobility, and restore function.
• Assist patients with therapeutic exercises, gait training, balance, and functional mobility.
• Support patients with transfers, strengthening, and activities of daily living.
• Utilize therapeutic modalities such as heat, cold, ultrasound, and electrical stimulation as appropriate.
• Educate patients and caregivers on exercises, safety, and use of assistive devices.
