Job summary

PruittHealth Home Health is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to provide in-home PT services under PT supervision in Muscogee County, GA and surrounding areas. The role features a $5,000 sign-on bonus and a new pay-per-point compensation plan that rewards higher effort visits.

Requirements include an active PTA license, graduation from an accredited PTA program, and a minimum of 2 years’ therapy experience.

Qualifications

Minimum of 2 years' therapy experience.
Valid driver's license and automobile liability insurance.
Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program.
If foreign-trained, the program must be deemed substantially equivalent to a PTA entry level education in the U.S. by a credentials evaluation organization.

Responsibilities

Assist with the development and implementation of the plan of care within goals defined by the physician, patient/patient family and interdisciplinary team.
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team and attending physician to develop, integrate, and manage the patient care plan of care.
Demonstrate competency in home care and specific patient care skills.
Meet agency productivity standards and use time/resources efficiently.
Complete documentation timely, accurately, at the point of care, per industry standards.
Assist the physical therapist in assessing the patient’s physical disability and function.
Maintain current license, certification, and clinical records to meet regulations.
Participate in surveys and required reports.
Report any violations to supervisor as needed.
Be self-directed, prioritize, and meet deadlines.
