PARS Therapy in Channelview, TX is seeking a compassionate Home Health Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to support patients on their recovery journey. In this onsite role, you will help restore mobility, improve functional independence, and enhance quality of life through personalized rehabilitation in the home setting.

You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, follow the physician's plan of care, and educate patients to participate actively in their rehab.

Qualifications

• Active PTA license in Texas.
• Current CPR certification.
• Professional liability insurance coverage required.
• Experience in home health or rehab settings preferred.
• Able to collaborate within a multidisciplinary team.
• Demonstrated clinical PTA experience.
• Strong interpersonal skills and adaptable care approaches.
• Knowledge of current treatment techniques and practices.
• Professional and compassionate in educating patients.

Responsibilities

• Deliver home health physical therapy services under supervision.
• Assist in identifying patient goals and implement interventions.
• Provide evidence-based, cost-effective treatments to improve movement.
• Support alternatives to surgery and reduce medication reliance.
• Develop individualized care plans using proven techniques.
• Create wellness and fitness programs tailored to each patient.
• Educate and motivate patients to participate in rehabilitation.
• Promote health by improving strength, flexibility, coordination, balance.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals for coordinated care.
• Monitor progress and document treatment outcomes.
• Maintain complete patient records and documentation.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
