Job summary

VitalCaring is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our home health team in West Palm Beach, FL. In this field-based role you will deliver one-on-one therapy to patients in their homes, helping them regain mobility, balance, and independence through personalized treatment plans.

You will work under a licensed Physical Therapist, document progress in the EMR, and collaborate with nurses and care teams.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) program.
• Current PTA license or certification as required by state law.
• 1+ year of home health experience preferred.
• Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct physical therapy services under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Follow individualized plans of care to help patients reduce pain, improve mobility, and restore function.
• Assist patients with therapeutic exercises, gait training, balance, and functional mobility.
• Support patients with transfers, strengthening, and activities of daily living.
• Utilize therapeutic modalities as appropriate and educate patients and caregivers.
