Job summary

AccentCare, Inc. is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for our Indianola, MS home health team.

You will work under the supervision of a Physical Therapist to provide patient treatment, education, and documentation, while supporting an interdisciplinary care approach. The ideal candidate will hold an associate degree in physical therapy, maintain licensure and CPR certification, be able to travel to service areas, and contribute to treatment plans under Therapy supervision.

Qualifications

• Associate degree from an accredited school of Physical Therapy.
• Valid license/registration to practice in the state of operation.
• CPR certification must be maintained.
• Must be a licensed driver able to travel to all business locations.
• Ability to educate patients and families on home safety and medical equipment.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care and document treatment per physician orders and agency policy.
• Document interventions, plans and treatment priorities.
• Educate and counsel patients and families; communicate findings to supervising therapist.
• Maintain timely daily notes and participate in team meetings and accounts.
