Job summary

Adventist HealthCare Home Health in Rockville, MD seeks a Physical Therapist Assistant to service the Rockville Territory. The PTA will administer interventions, coordinate care with the team, and document plans of care in line with agency policies.

Ideal candidates hold an Associate degree in PTA, Maryland PTA licensure, 2–3 years PTA experience, and BLS certification; home care experience is preferred. This is a full-time, 40-hour workweek with dayshift.

Qualifications

• Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant in Maryland.
• 2–3 years of PTA experience.
• 1 year home care experience preferred.
• MD PTA licensure required and BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates plan of care with team to provide optimal patient experience.
• Administers PT interventions per policy and procedures.
• Applies therapy knowledge and plans patient care with goals.
• Completes documentation in a proficient and timely manner.
• Participates in personal and professional development.
• Supervises PT treatments under physician orders and coordinates with other providers.
