Qualifications

• Doctoral/masters/bachelor in physical therapy from an accredited program.
• Active Maryland Physical Therapy license.
• BLS certification (American Heart Association) required.

Responsibilities

• Perform initial examination and evaluation to establish diagnosis, prognosis, and plan of care across rehab settings.
• Provide and supervise therapy interventions per plan of care; involve patient and care team in planning and assessment.
• Plan discharge considering goals and outcomes; coordinate follow-up or referrals as needed.
• Document all aspects of patient management; supervise rehab aides and office staff as needed.
• Manage schedule to accommodate census and patient load; communicate status in team meetings.
• Pursue ongoing professional development as part of role.
