Job summary

Human Touch Home Health is seeking licensed Physical Therapist Assistants (PTAs) to join our Rockville, MD service area. Full-Time, Part-Time, and PRN opportunities available across Rockville, Gaithersburg, Germantown, Clarksburg, Damascus, Olney, and surrounding Montgomery County.

You'll provide in-home therapy under PT supervision, with flexible territories and immediate patient opportunities. Competitive pay, benefits for eligible employees, mileage reimbursements, and growth opportunities

Qualifications

• Active Maryland PTA license required.
• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• WellSky experience is a plus.
• Reliable transportation and ability to work independently in patients' homes.
• Immediate or near-immediate availability strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Carry out established physical therapy plans of care.
• Provide therapeutic exercise and functional mobility training.
• Help patients improve strength, balance, coordination, and endurance.
• Provide gait, transfer, and stair training.
• Reinforce home exercise programs.
• Assist patients with achieving functional mobility goals.
• Monitor patient response to treatment.
• Communicate changes in condition to the supervising PT.
• Educate patients and caregivers.
• Complete accurate and timely documentation using WellSky.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team.
