Job summary

Qualifications

• Two-year PTA program meeting American Physical Therapy Association standards.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• PTA licensure or eligibility required upon hire.
• Valid Texas driver’s license with proof of insurance.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy services as outlined in the plan of care created by the supervising PT.
• Perform therapeutic exercises, gait training, ADL training, and modalities per plan of care.
• Modify treatment techniques as directed by the PT and plan of care.
• Communicate changes in patient condition to supervising PT and document accordingly.
• Engage in case conferences and assist with patient and caregiver education.
