Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience: One (1) to two (2) years in Physical Therapy is required.
• Licenses and Certifications: BLS or CPR AED, Texas driver’s license, proof of driver’s insurance, Lic Physical Therapist.

Responsibilities

• Directs and aids patient in active and passive exercises, muscle re-education, and functional training.
• Provides instructions in therapeutic procedures to be continued by the patient/family.
• Maintains patient records and charts to ensure an accurate record of treatment.
• Responsible for monitoring delivery of physical therapy services in adherence to agency’s clinical standards.
• Participates in Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) Program.
• Provides supervisory visits for Physical Therapy Assistant as required by state and federal regulations.
