Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health at Home in Beverly, MA is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant to deliver in-home PT services under supervision of an RPT, Mon-Fri 8:00-4:30, with no weekends or holidays. Under the plan of care you will implement selected interventions, monitor patient progress, and participate in educating patients and families in therapeutic exercise and device use.

Qualifications

• Associates degree from CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program.
• Massachusetts PTA licensure in good standing.
• Active BLS certification.
• At least 2 years of PTA experience in acute care, rehab or home health.

Responsibilities

• Review the plan of care with the supervising RPT and accept delegated tasks within the limits of capabilities and guidelines.
• Perform selected visits/interventions as directed by the RPT.
• Educate patient and family in therapeutic exercise programs, functional activities and use of assistive devices.
• Monitor patient progress and report changes to the RPT.
• Coordinate care with the multidisciplinary clinical team and maintain HIPAA-compliant documentation.
