Job summary

BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking an experienced Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for home health visits, serving adult and geriatric patients on a per-visit basis. The PTA will assist clients to attain or maintain optimal physical well-being through treatment, tests, education and interventions as delegated by a licensed Physical Therapist.

Requirements include MA licensure/certification, graduation from a 2-year APTA-approved program, and at least one year of PTA experience under

• Must hold current licensure or certification in MA.
• Graduated from a two-year college program approved by the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA).
• At least one year of PTA experience and a satisfactory proficiency exam/validation if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide home health PTA services, including treatment, tests and client education as delegated by a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Assist adults and geriatric patients to attain or maintain optimal physical well-being during home visits.
• Maintain documentation and coordinate with supervising Physical Therapist.
