Job summary

BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking an experienced Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for home health visits, serving adult and geriatric patients on a per-visit basis. The PTA will assist clients to attain or maintain optimal physical well-being through treatment, tests, education and interventions as delegated by a licensed Physical Therapist.

Requirements include MA licensure/certification, graduation from a 2-year APTA-approved program, and at least one year of PTA experience under

Responsibilities

• Provide home health PTA services, including treatment, tests and client education as delegated by a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Assist adults and geriatric patients to attain or maintain optimal physical well-being during home visits.
• Maintain documentation and coordinate with supervising Physical Therapist.

Job description

BAYADA Home Health Care is currently seeking an experienced Physical Therapist Assistant, PTA, for an opportunity performinghome healthvisits. This office works with adult and geriatric patients on a per visit basis.

As a home care Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) you will assist clients in attaining or maintaining optimal physical well being by providing treatment, tests, client education and appropriate interventions as delegated by a licensed Physical Therapist.

Each Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) must:

• Have current licensure or certification in the state of MA.
• Have graduated from a two-year college level program approved by the American Physical Therapy Association, as indicated by school transcript or diploma, or
• Have one year of appropriate experience as an Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) and a satisfactory grade on a proficiency exam conducted, approved or sponsored by the U.S. Public Health Service when initial qualification occurred before December 31, 1977
• Have at least one year’s work experience under the supervision of a qualified Physical Therapist.
• Other activities, as requested.

• $45-55 per point, based on qualifications.
