Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited PTA program with an associate degree.
• Current PTA certification or state licensure as required by law.
• Strong verbal, written, and organizational skills.
• Current CPR certification.
• Licensed driver with a reliable, insured automobile.

Responsibilities

• Deliver physical therapy interventions under the direction of a licensed PT.
• Help patients relieve pain and maintain function.
• Lead patients through therapeutic exercises and mobility activities.
• Use physical agents per state guidelines.
• Observe and report patient progress to the PT.
• Instruct patients in safe use of mobility devices.
