Job summary

PARS Therapy in Boerne, TX is seeking a compassionate Home Health Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to support patients through recovery at home. You will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to restore mobility, independence, and quality of life while following the physician's plan of care.

Ideal candidates have an active Texas PTA license, current CPR certification, and a collaborative approach to care.

Qualifications

• Active Texas PTA license required.
• CPR certification required.
• Home health or rehabilitation experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver PT services in the home setting under supervision of a licensed PT.
• Identify patient goals and implement interventions to meet mobility needs.
• Provide evidence-based treatments to improve movement and independence.
• Support alternatives to surgery and reduce medication reliance.
• Develop and carry out individualized care plans with proven techniques.
• Create wellness and fitness programs tailored to each patient.
• Educate and motivate patients to participate in rehabilitation.
• Promote strength, flexibility, coordination, and balance.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals for coordinated care.
• Monitor progress, evaluate outcomes, and communicate updates.
• Document services and maintain patient records.
