Job summary

PARS Therapy is seeking a compassionate Home Health Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) in Hondo, TX to support patients’ recovery journeys. This onsite role focuses on restoring mobility, improving independence, and enhancing quality of life through personalized, evidence-based home-based care.

You will work under a licensed Physical Therapist and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to create individualized care plans, promote movement, and educate patients for successful rehabilitation

Qualifications

• Active Texas PTA license and CPR certification are required.
• Experience in home health or rehabilitation settings preferred.
• Professional liability insurance coverage required.
• Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary care team.

Responsibilities

• Deliver physical therapy services in the home setting under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Assist in identifying patient goals and implement interventions to meet functional needs.
• Provide evidence-based treatments to promote movement and independence.
• Develop and carry out individualized care plans using proven techniques.
• Educate and motivate patients to participate in rehabilitation and recovery.
• Monitor progress and document services accurately.
