PARS Therapy in Temple, TX seeks a compassionate Home Health Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA). You will support patients’ recovery in the home, helping restore mobility and independence while delivering personalized care across prevention, treatment, and rehabilitation.

The role emphasizes collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, educating patients, and promoting overall wellbeing through evidence-based therapies and customized care plans.

Qualifications

• Active PTA license in Texas required.
• Current CPR certification required.
• Professional liability insurance coverage required.
• Experience in home health or rehabilitation settings preferred.
• Proven ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary care team.
• Demonstrated clinical experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant.

Responsabilités

• Deliver physical therapy services in the home setting under supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Identify patient goals and implement interventions to meet functional needs.
• Provide evidence-based treatments to improve movement and independence.
• Support alternatives to surgery and reduce medication reliance when appropriate.
• Develop and carry out individualized care plans with proven techniques.
• Create wellness and fitness programs tailored to each patient.
• Educate and motivate patients to participate actively in rehabilitation.
• Promote health by improving strength, flexibility, coordination, and balance.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality care.
• Monitor progress and communicate updates to the supervising therapist.
