Job summary

Adoration Health is seeking a dedicated Home Health Physical Therapist Assistant to provide 1:1 patient care in Milledgeville, GA. This role supports patients in their homes with supervised PT planning and treatment, in a flexible schedule that may include full-time, part-time, or PRN shifts.

New graduates are welcome to apply, with opportunities for growth within a growing company. The Home Health PTA will collaborate with a supervising Physical Therapist to ensure goals are met and care plans

Qualifications

• Current unrestricted license as a Physical Therapist Assistant in the state of practice.
• Current Basic Life Support or cardiopulmonary resuscitation certification, in accordance with state regulations.
• A minimum of one year’s work experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant preferred.
• Demonstrates knowledge of rehabilitation techniques related to complex neurological injury.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy services planned, delegated, and supervised by the qualified Physical Therapist in accordance with the patient’s Plan of Treatment.
• Consult with Physical Therapist regularly regarding patient’s plan of treatment, status of progress toward goals, questions and concerns.
• Communicate patient’s needs and progress to the Physical Therapist of record and assist in securing special adaptive equipment for patient to improve function; incorporate the use of adaptive equipment to enhance the rehabilitation program.
• Maintain and submit patient treatment and billing documentation in the format and timelines required by the Company, facility, funding source, local, state and federal regulations.
