Job summary

Advanced Nursing Concepts is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant for PRN home health in Orlando and surrounding areas. You will deliver therapy under the PT's plan of care, guide patients through exercises, and help restore function in home settings.

The role requires PTA certification, current CPR, a valid driver's license, and reliable transportation for travel to patient homes and the office. Compensation is negotiable based on experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate PTA program with an APTA‑approved Associate's degree.
• Current state licensure or certification as required by law.
• CPR certification current.
• Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation for travel to patient homes.

Responsibilities

• Deliver therapy under the PT's direction and the plan of care.
• Treat patients to relieve pain, restore function, and maintain performance.
• Guide patients through exercises, gait and transfer training, and prosthetic training.
• Apply heat, cold, water, light, electricity, ultrasound, and massage as ordered.
• Report patient response and changes in condition to the PT.
• Teach patients to use wheelchairs, braces, crutches, canes, and prosthetic or orthotic devices.
• Document care accurately and on time.
• Participate in Home Care Team meetings and inservice education.
• Take on other duties as assigned.
