Job summary

BAYADA Home Health Care in Fayetteville, NC seeks an experienced Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for full-time, part-time, or per diem home health visits in the Fayetteville Visits office. The role serves adult and geriatric patients in Harnett County with care provided in patients' homes.

The PTA provides treatment and education under a licensed Physical Therapist, requiring NC licensure and a two-year PTA program approved by the APTA, plus relevant experience and supervision requirements.

Qualifications

• Must have a current North Carolina license/certification.
• Graduate of a two-year PTA program approved by the APTA.
• Two years of PTA experience and a satisfactory grade on a proficiency exam conducted before Dec 31, 1977 if initial qualification occurred prior to that date.
• At least one year of work experience under supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.

Responsibilities

• Provide treatment, tests, client education and appropriate interventions as delegated by a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Perform home health visits for adult and geriatric patients in assigned territories.
• Collaborate with supervising Physical Therapist to develop and adjust patient care plans.
